Kate Ogden Speech & Language Therapy works in schools across North Norfolk
I can provide assessment, support and intervention for children who have been identified as having SLCN and for those who have not yet been assessed but may be at risk of communication difficulties.
Early intervention is crucial (Department for Education 2010) and can best be described as taking the appropriate action at an early age to prevent more serious problems later on.
Over the last 19 years, I have worked in many early years settings, mainstream schools, language units and special schools and have a wealth of experience and specialist training with:
- listening and attention difficulties
- autism spectrum disorders
- social communication difficulties
- learning difficulties
- Down Syndrome
- speech and language delay / disorder
- stammering and dysfluency
- selective mutism
I can offer support through assessments, therapy sessions, therapy programmes, monitoring, advice, training and can provide recommendations to support an EHCP application.
My services can be booked by your preschool or school on a regular basis. I am happy to work on a weekly, monthly or ad hoc arrangement, depending on your needs and charge an hourly fee.
I provide a flexible service quickly and easily; without red tape, waiting lists and endless form filling.
